DevOps Engineer – GCP & Kubernetes

About the role

We are looking for a junior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with senior engineers to build, automate and maintain Kubernetes‑based services, ensuring reliable and secure delivery for development, staging and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Assist in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery.
• Provide Linux system support across cloud environments.
• Implement secrets management and secure access solutions such as Vault.
• Monitor system health using logging, alerting and observability tools.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, Kubernetes, networking and platform issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Collaborate with development, security and operations teams to improve automation, reliability and security practices.

Required profile

• Approximately one year of experience in DevOps, cloud or system administration.
• Basic to intermediate experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Fundamental Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Awareness of monitoring and observability solutions.
