Digital Twin Intern – Strategic Student Program

About the role

Join Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Digital Twin Intern within the Strategic Student Program (SSP). You will work with the Verification Consulting Team in Cairo, contributing to cutting‑edge digital twin projects that bridge hardware and software.

Key responsibilities

• Select and integrate an open‑source interconnect with the Hycon platform.
• Analyse the interconnect options and program the chosen solution.
• Choose a peripheral IP (e.g., NVDLA or a custom ALU) and access it via software running inside Hycon.
• Document your implementation and present results to the team.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Verilog development experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded software.
• Familiarity with waveform debugging tools.
• Knowledge of AMBA protocols such as AXI or CHI (preferred).
