Director Private Equity

About the role

The Director Private Equity will lead and manage private equity investment strategies to support SOLARSOL EG's growth in the solar and renewable energy sectors. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in New Cairo and involves close collaboration with technical, operations, and business development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, including financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
• Lead due diligence activities covering commercial, financial, legal, and technical aspects.
• Prepare investment memos and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with investors and financial institutions, monitor portfolio performance, and identify value‑creation and exit opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical background with proven experience in investments, deal sourcing, evaluation, and portfolio management.
• Hands‑on expertise in due diligence and solid finance knowledge, preferably in corporate finance, valuation methods, and capital markets.
• Direct private‑equity experience in energy, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
