Distribution Center Supervisor (tMart)

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Distribution Center (DC) Supervisor for its tMart business in Cairo. The role runs the daily operations of the DC, including receiving, putaway, dispatch, inventory control and quality, and is accountable for the KPIs of health and safety, stock levels, availability and cost. It is focused on local activities but includes light interaction with regional and central teams.

Key responsibilities

• Run the DC operations across receiving, putaway, dispatch, inventory control and quality, and optimise processes to meet KPI targets.
• Manage about 20-30 employees, including monthly performance reviews, development plans and attendance.
• Oversee inventory, availability and cost, and work with the demand planning team to optimise purchases and inventory.
• Work with the finance team to optimise operating costs.
• Collaborate with demand planning, commercial, operations, procurement, inventory control and finance teams.

Required profile

• At least 5-7 years of experience in warehousing and distribution centers.
• Solid knowledge of all DC operations and inventory control, with basic finance knowledge.
• Good communication skills, hands-on approach with several tools, and strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
• Very good English is highly advantageous.
