Drivers for Safe Transportation and Fleet Support

About the role

The role provides safe, reliable and timely transportation services for Plan International staff, visitors and stakeholders in Egypt, while ensuring vehicles are well‑maintained and supporting basic administrative and logistical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide punctual driving services for staff, visitors and official trips between the Country Office, field offices, airports, hotels and other destinations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, coordinate servicing, maintenance and annual inspections, and report any incidents or technical issues.
• Handle collection and delivery of project supplies, mail, documents and other official materials.
• Support administrative tasks such as delivering signed cheques, managing incoming/outgoing post and assisting with compliance documentation.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in driving, fleet, logistics or administrative support.
• Valid Egyptian Category 3 driving licence with a clean record (no major accidents in the last three years).
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian traffic regulations, road safety and local routes, especially in project areas.

Required skills

• Professional driving experience across Egypt.
• Basic vehicle safety checks and routine maintenance knowledge.
• Diploma or certificate in auto mechanics (preferred).
