E-Payment Production Switch Officer

About the role

The E-Payment Production Switch Officer is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and regulatory compliance of the organization’s electronic payment switch. This role works closely with technical, business, and vendor teams to manage daily transaction flows and implement system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily operations of the e‑payment switch, ensuring high availability.
• Manage transaction flows, including authorization, routing, clearing, and settlement.
• Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements for service reliability.
• Configure transaction rules, routing parameters, and processing limits according to business needs.
• Respond to technical incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate on system enhancements, testing, validation, and smooth deployment of new features.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as PCI DSS, EMV, and PSD2.
• Liaise with vendors and network providers to resolve system‑related issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, workflows, and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of e‑payment switch systems and transaction protocols.
• Familiarity with payment networks such as Visa and Mastercard.
• Basic understanding of compliance and security standards (PCI DSS, EMV).
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
