Electrical Engineer (Premises)

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to oversee the electromechanical aspects of our premises projects. The role involves ensuring that all electrical installations meet design specifications, safety standards and project timelines, and supporting the commissioning process until hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Close out electromechanical tasks for each project and attend the final commissioning committee.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress against schedule and compliance with specifications.
• Issue letters of award to contractors and coordinate material orders for long‑lead items supplied by the bank.
• Ensure contractor adherence to SOPs, bank Code of Conduct, safety instructions and appearance standards.
• Secure and manage bank assets within the project jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance department to preview projects until warranty expiry.
• Review commissioning checklists to confirm deliverables meet standards and identify any deviations.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to technicians, fostering a productive work environment.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience ranging from 0‑2 years (junior) to 5+ years (senior) in electromechanical or project engineering.
