Electrical Engineer – Site Supervision (Cairo)

About the role

The Electrical Site Engineer will lead the installation, testing and commissioning of all electrical systems on a construction site in Cairo, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of lighting, power distribution, fire alarm and grounding systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and project documents to guarantee correct implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines (civil, mechanical) to avoid conflicts.
• Monitor daily site activities, track progress against the schedule and prepare regular progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Verify material quantities, prepare requisitions and maintain accurate site records.
• Attend site meetings, provide technical support and document as‑built changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of site execution experience on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings and local codes.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• MS Office
• ETAP (or similar electrical design software)
• Dialux (preferred)
• Familiarity with NEC and IEC standards
