Electrical Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Planning Engineer to join Alfanar Projects and support the planning and control of our electrical infrastructure projects. The role involves creating, monitoring and updating project schedules to ensure timely delivery in line with contractual commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays and risks, and propose mitigation and recovery plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S‑curves and forecasts.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, procurement and subcontractors to align activities with the approved baseline.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications and client requirements.
• Support claims preparation, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and delay analysis.
• Contribute to resource loading, manpower planning and productivity analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in EPC, construction or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
