Electrical Site Engineer – 12‑Month Project

About the role

Lafarge Egypt is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer for a 12‑month fixed‑term project at its new cement plant in Ain Al‑Sokhna. You will oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply health‑and‑safety rules on‑site, including PPE use and energy isolation.
• Conduct daily risk assessments to maintain a safe work environment.
• Supervise electrical, instrumentation and control system installation and record progress.
• Oversee calibration activities with contractors.
• Participate in daily engineering meetings and ensure schedule adherence.
• Manage cold‑run, sequence, fault and protection device testing in the main control room.
• Ensure all contractor work complies with occupational health and safety instructions and company standards.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree (Electrical, Instrumentation or related).
• Experience in construction‑site electrical and control system projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk‑assessment procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
