Electrical Site Engineer – 3-6 Years Experience

About the role

DCC, a leading electromechanical and construction firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join its project team in Cairo. The role involves supervising electrical installations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical works on‑site according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor installation of power, lighting, low‑current, earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and MEP teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and implement shop drawings, technical submittals and method statements.
• Track subcontractor performance, productivity and quality of work.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in construction and contracting projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, low‑current and grounding systems.
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
