Electrical Site Engineer (Cairo)

About the role

The Electrical Site Engineer will supervise and coordinate all electrical works on construction sites in Cairo, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, grounding and other electrical systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and project documents to guarantee correct implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines (civil, mechanical) to avoid conflicts.
• Monitor daily site activities, track progress against the schedule and prepare regular progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with quality and safety regulations.
• Verify material quantities, prepare requisitions and maintain accurate site records.
• Attend site meetings, provide technical support and ensure proper documentation of as‑built drawings and test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in site execution of electrical works on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and international standards such as NEC and IEC.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain a quality‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Competence with MS Office.
• Experience with electrical design software (ETAP; Dialux is a plus).
• Understanding of NEC and IEC standards.
