Electromechanical Engineer – School Facilities

About the role

The Egyptian British International School is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to oversee maintenance, installation, and construction activities across its New Cairo and El Shorouk campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and follow up on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire‑fighting system works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to guarantee proper execution.
• Monitor materials, spare parts, and equipment needs while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Prepare maintenance and follow‑up reports as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, construction, or facility management.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and building services.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
