English Second Language Teacher

About the role

SYE English Community is seeking a motivated English Second Language Teacher to deliver engaging, student‑centered lessons in Giza. The role can be full‑time, part‑time or freelance and focuses on improving learners' English proficiency and preparing them for standardized exams such as IELTS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive English lessons tailored to diverse learner needs.
• Create lesson plans, activities and assessments aligned with curriculum goals.
• Prepare students for IELTS and other English proficiency tests.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Experience teaching English as a foreign language; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IELTS preparation and standardized testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively on‑site in Giza.
