Enterprise Security Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Security Architect will design, oversee, and manage a comprehensive security architecture across network, database, infrastructure, and container environments. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to embed security controls and ensure the organization’s systems remain resilient against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a holistic security architecture covering network, infrastructure, databases, and containerized applications.
• Implement network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
• Establish security controls for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, focusing on access management, monitoring, and risk mitigation.
• Define and enforce database security policies, including encryption, access controls, and activity monitoring.
• Secure container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) through image scanning, runtime monitoring, and cluster hardening.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as PCI, NIST, ISO, GDPR, and promote best‑practice security processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 11+ years of experience in security architecture or a comparable role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, cloud security certifications) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols across infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, and containers.
