Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper is a full‑time hybrid position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role combines on‑site leadership of daily housekeeping and laundry operations with remote planning, reporting and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping activities to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Manage laundry services, monitor quality, and control efficiency of linen handling.
• Supervise, schedule and train housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linen, tracking usage and reordering as needed.
• Collaborate with front office and maintenance teams to respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare records, reports and ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Required profile

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role, preferably in a mid‑ to large‑scale property.
• Strong organizational abilities for staff scheduling, inventory management and workload planning.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with team members, management and guests.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety and sanitation standards in hospitality.
• Ability to work both on‑site and remotely.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation regulations.
