Export & Shipping Coordinator

About the role

The Export & Shipping Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between the factory and external logistics partners to ensure seamless export operations. This role involves managing shipment bookings, preparing documentation, and guaranteeing compliance with export regulations while maintaining effective communication with clients and freight forwarders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the factory to confirm goods are ready for shipment.
• Book vessels and arrange container reservations according to shipping schedules.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading.
• Collaborate with shipping lines, clearance agents, and clients.
• Maintain shipment records and generate regular reports.
• Negotiate with freight forwarders to obtain competitive rates and optimal transit times.
• Monitor shipping schedules and proactively address delays or changes.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in export and shipping.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Good command of English.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• International shipping terms (FOB, CIF)
