Fairmont Gold Reception Agent (Front Desk)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Fairmont Gold Reception Agent to be the first point of contact for guests at our luxury hotel in Cairo. You will deliver exceptional service while managing front‑desk operations efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and departure with genuine warmth and professionalism.
• Handle check‑ins, check‑outs, room assignments and cash transactions accurately.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Process guest requests, resolve issues promptly and escalate complex matters.
• Maintain and update guest records in the hotel management system.
• Assist Fairmont Gold loyalty programme members with personalized service.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls following professional standards.
• Keep the front‑desk area clean, organized and presentable.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in hospitality or a luxury service environment.
• Proven front‑desk or reception experience in a hotel or similar establishment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages (French, German or Spanish) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a hotel management system.
