F&B Hostess - Four Seasons Hotel Cairo

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is looking for a creative, talented full-time F&B Hostess who is well-mannered, visionary and passionate, with a deep understanding of the hospitality concept. The role is based in the hotel's restaurant and focuses on setting up the hostess stand, managing seating and preparing the dining room for each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
• Set up the hostess stand and review reservations, making recommendations according to the room setup
• Open the restaurant for business at the prescribed time each shift
• Inspect the cleanliness of every part of the dining room and make necessary improvements
• Check each table before opening to ensure it is properly set
• Pick up the daily menus, list them and ensure their condition and appearance
• Assign seatings in line with service standards

Required profile

• Fluent reading, writing and spoken English
• 6 months to 1 year of previous Food & Beverage experience
• Understanding of hotel regulations and a commitment to maintaining quality
