Finance Director (Chinese Speaker)

About the role

Sailun Group is seeking a Finance Director who is fluent in Mandarin to lead financial strategy and daily management for its Egypt manufacturing plant and sales operations. The role involves overseeing a local finance team and acting as the primary bridge between the China headquarters and Egyptian stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategic plans and manage day‑to‑day financial activities for the Egypt plant and sales business.
• Lead the creation of regional operating budgets, improve business analysis frameworks, and drive analysis activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Design financial accounting models and provide advisory support for major strategic decisions.
• Serve as liaison with Chinese headquarters, tax authorities, banks, and audit firms, maintaining strong relationships.
• Establish and optimise financial management systems and workflows to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Fluent verbal and written Mandarin; strong English proficiency preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; professional certifications and senior‑level experience are a plus.
• At least 5 years of financial management experience in large enterprises, with deep knowledge of Egyptian fiscal, tax, and foreign‑exchange regulations.
• Meticulous, principle‑driven work style with excellent cross‑cultural communication and ability to work under pressure.
