Finance Manager – Manufacturing (Factory Wiring & Cabling)

About the role

The Finance Manager will build and lead the Finance & Accounting function for a large factory that produces wiring harnesses, wires and cables. This role is hands‑on, requiring the ability to work with legacy data, establish robust controls and guide the finance team through a major systems restructuring.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and operate the Finance & Accounting function according to the approved organization structure and transformation plan.
• Ensure the integrity, completeness and accuracy of the General Ledger and all accounting records.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, producing reliable financial statements and statutory reports.
• Validate opening balances and clean up legacy accounting data transferred to the new ERP environment.
• Own finance requirements during ERP development, supporting data migration, testing and module activation.
• Design and enforce internal financial controls, documentation standards and segregation of duties.
• Oversee cash, bank and treasury activities, monitoring short‑term liquidity and working‑capital risks.
• Control inventory valuation, costing and reconciliation between operational records and the General Ledger.
• Coordinate budgeting and financial planning, challenging assumptions and ensuring alignment with operational inputs.
