Fish Grill Chef (Arabic Seafood Restaurant)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fish Grill Chef to join our Arabic seafood restaurant. You will be responsible for preparing and grilling a variety of seafood items to meet our high standards of taste and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, cut, portion, and prepare fish and seafood for cooking.
• Marinate seafood using approved recipes and seasoning methods.
• Grill fish, shrimp, squid, lobster, and other seafood according to customer orders.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper preparation.
• Present dishes attractively and consistently.
• Maintain quality control of seafood products and report freshness concerns.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth and timely service.
• Follow portion‑control guidelines to minimize waste.
• Assist with stock monitoring and inform supervisors of inventory shortages.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Support the Head Chef and kitchen team with additional food preparation tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Experience working in a fast‑paced kitchen, preferably in seafood or grill stations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
