Food Delivery Logistics Manager – Alexandria

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to lead and optimise our food‑delivery associate network in Alexandria. You will be responsible for fleet performance, delivery speed, cost efficiency and associate retention in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and training of delivery associates to build a high‑quality fleet.
• Allocate shifts and manage fleet availability across peak and off‑peak periods.
• Monitor KPIs such as delivery time, order fulfilment rate and customer satisfaction, implementing improvement plans.
• Design incentive programmes to motivate and retain top performers while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Coordinate on‑ground logistics, real‑time order dispatching and route optimisation.
• Collaborate with tech teams to enhance fleet tracking, associate app usability and dispatch algorithms.
• Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies, control fleet costs and improve fuel utilisation.
• Develop contingency plans for high‑demand periods, weather disruptions and other operational risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in last‑mile logistics, fleet management or delivery operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making.
• Hands‑on experience managing large‑scale delivery fleets in fast‑paced settings.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to dynamic challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of SQL or operational analytics tools.
