Formwork Design Engineer

About the role

PERI Egypt is seeking a Civil Engineer with 1‑3 years of experience in formwork, shoring, or temporary works to develop safe, practical, and cost‑effective solutions for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design formwork and shoring solutions and prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and details using AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering calculations, technical checks, and prepare material quantities and equipment lists.
• Review structural and architectural drawings and coordinate with sales, project, and site teams.
• Provide technical support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of experience in formwork, shoring, or temporary works.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Good understanding of structural behavior and load paths.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Ability to prepare and check technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
