FP&A Accountant (Financial Planning & Analysis)

About the role

Americana Restaurants, a leading restaurant operator in the MENA region, is seeking an FP&A Accountant to support its finance function. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, analysis, and assisting with month‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly analysis of key financial statement accounts.
• Review and analyze P&L and general ledger balances for accuracy.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monthly close activities.
• Perform variance analysis and explain discrepancies.
• Build annual budgets and forecasts for business units and consolidate them.
• Share in monthly close, analyze results and provide variance explanations.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, or simplify finance tools and processes.
• Prepare monthly PowerPoint presentations for business review meetings.
• Review operations and recommend productivity or cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting (Master’s degree a plus).
• 1‑3 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis or related roles.
• Experience with operating expenses and headcount budgeting.
• Advanced English communication and business writing skills.
