About the role

Sakr Immersion Schools is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join its Alexandria campus. This full‑time, on‑site position involves designing and delivering engaging English lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age‑appropriate English lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, communicate regularly with guardians, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and continuous professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong instructional skills in English with a proven track record of effective classroom teaching.
• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
• Background in education, including knowledge of pedagogical best practices and classroom management.
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or relevant credential preferred.
• Experience teaching English to school‑age learners, preferably in an immersion or international school setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to diverse student needs, and incorporate basic educational technology.
