Graduate Civil Engineer – Ready‑Mix Concrete Plant

About the role

Lafarge Egypt is seeking recent Civil Engineering graduates to join its 1‑year Graduate Program focused on the Ready‑Mix Concrete Plant in Ain Al‑Sokhna. You will gain hands‑on experience in plant maintenance, production continuity, and operational improvement while working closely with experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly electrical maintenance plans (PM and CM).
• Track spare‑part orders and generate work orders.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and minimize plant shutdown time.
• Diagnose unexpected shutdowns, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and perform immediate repairs affecting production.
• Propose equipment and process improvements to reduce energy consumption and boost efficiency.
• Prepare equipment condition reports and recommend future maintenance actions.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering graduate (class of 2023‑2025).
• Completed or exempted military service.
• Available to start in May 2026.
• Strong interest in plant operations and maintenance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology.
