Graphic Designer (12 Months Contract)

About the role

inD, a regional leader in B2B exhibitions and events and a subsidiary of Informa PLC, is hiring a Graphic Designer for a 12-month contract. The role is based in the Cairo office at Festival City Business Park, New Cairo, reports to the Senior Creative Lead and sits within the Creative Team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to creative design briefs for ongoing projects and team pitches
• Proactively bring forward ideas, big and small, to pitch to teams
• Respond to in-house and team feedback professionally and on time
• Handle ad hoc projects with quick turnaround when needed
• Keep up to date with media production for digital, online and print, knowing the technical specifications and best practices for each
• Take part in pitch processes and brainstorming sessions with the wider team
• Maintain an organised file structure and data management system so team members can access project files easily
• Stay up to date with current design trends and look for new techniques and styles

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a designer in the events industry or with an agency
• Strong visual and conceptual skills, backed by technical computer skills
• Desire to grow, learn workflows and work with different visual styles
• Good organisational skills, able to work on multiple projects at once
• Creative, resourceful and excellent communicator with a high attention to detail
• Enjoys working as part of a creative team

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Animation skills are a huge plus (references requested)
• UX/UI skills are a big bonus
