Head of Commercial

About the role

The Head of Commercial will define and execute the company’s commercial strategy to drive growth, profitability and market expansion. Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees sales, business development, tendering, contract management and customer relationship activities across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet revenue and profit targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets and strategic partnerships.
• Lead market analysis, competitor benchmarking and pricing strategy formulation.
• Manage and motivate sales and business development teams to maximise performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Negotiate major contracts, tenders and commercial agreements while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Prepare commercial forecasts, budgets and performance reports.
• Drive cost‑optimization and revenue‑enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement and operations functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management, sales, contracts or business development.
• Proven leadership experience in strategic commercial roles.
• Extensive experience in tendering and contract negotiations.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive technologies.
• Experience with enterprise applications.
• Understanding of high‑performance computing (HPC) infrastructure.
