Health Program Manager – Multi‑Donor Health Projects

About the role

The Health Program Manager provides strategic leadership, technical oversight and operational management for multiple health projects across several governorates in Egypt. The role ensures high‑quality delivery of primary, secondary and tertiary health services, while building capacity of community health workers and public‑sector staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of health projects, managing multiple donor grants and ensuring compliance with SCI standards and donor requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting and award management, coordinating closely with finance and procurement teams.
• Conduct participatory needs assessments, support MEAL processes and ensure robust monitoring tools are in place.
• Develop and update safety, security and procurement procedures for all project locations.
• Provide technical assistance, capacity‑building and training to staff, partners and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing multi‑donor health programmes in development and humanitarian contexts.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex budgets.
• Strong knowledge of health systems strengthening, nutrition, mental health and WASH interventions.
