Health & Safety Section Head

About the role

The Health & Safety Section Head will lead the implementation of Titan Egypt’s H&S standards at an assigned cement plant. You will ensure compliance with group policies, Egyptian legislation, and internal procedures through inspections, incident follow‑up, and employee coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections, walk‑downs and risk assessments to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.
• Lead investigations of incidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely implementation of preventive measures.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and refresher training for staff and contractors.
• Support emergency preparedness plans, drills and response procedures.
• Assist internal and external audits, maintain accurate safety records and prepare regular KPI reports.
• Manage contractor compliance with Titan H&S standards, including onboarding and monitoring.
• Coordinate health programs, medical surveillance and wellness initiatives with occupational health providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety or a related field.
• 5–8 years of HSE experience in the cement or heavy‑industry sector.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification preferred.
