Health Services Coordinator – Aswan

About the role

The Health Services Coordinator will lead the delivery of mobile clinics to underserved populations in Aswan, ensuring refugees, unregistered and vulnerable migrants receive primary health care. The role requires close collaboration with health authorities, NGOs and local partners to assess needs, build capacity and implement health services.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage mobile clinics in targeted areas, guaranteeing high‑quality, timely health care.
• Collaborate with the Ministry of Health, Egyptian Health Authority and NGOs to support primary care operations.
• Coach, mentor and oversee the transition of clinics to selected local partners.
• Support partners in establishing and maintaining primary health‑care provision.
• Assess infrastructure, supplies and capacity‑building needs of PHCs and hospitals in Aswan.
• Develop SOPs for cash‑for‑health interventions, eligibility criteria and support amounts.
• Create internal SOPs for managing medical cases and referrals between Aswan and Cairo projects.
• Evaluate community‑referred cases and ensure access to secondary health services.
• Plan and implement cash‑for‑medical‑cases reimbursement programmes, monitoring quality and risk.
• Maintain accurate records of mobile clinics, needs assessments and capacity‑building activities.
• Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders and enter monthly utilisation data into the project database.
• Draft analytical reports, case studies and other documentation as required.
• Participate in planning future programming initiatives and ensure partner NGOs deliver activities on time and with high quality.
