Healthcare IT Support Engineer – Trainee (6‑Month Program)

About the role

Millensys is seeking motivated fresh graduates or early‑career professionals to join a 6‑month accelerated talent development program in Healthcare IT. You will gain hands‑on experience with database management, system troubleshooting, networking, and healthcare‑specific workflows while supporting the company’s technical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving incidents on SQL Server and Windows Server environments.
• Support IIS configuration, web‑application integrations, and API connectivity.
• Participate in the monitoring and maintenance of network components, TCP/IP, DNS, and related ports.
• Learn and contribute to healthcare workflow integrations such as RIS, PACS, HL7 and DICOM.
• Document technical issues, create tickets, and follow escalation protocols.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and provide customer communication as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of professional experience or recent graduation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good English proficiency for reading technical documentation.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts or on‑call coverage.

Required skills

• SQL Server (relational database management).
• Windows Server administration.
• IIS web‑server configuration.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, ports).
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7 and DICOM (optional but a plus).
