About the role

The Heart of House Specialist/Steward supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across the kitchen, food‑and‑beverage, and laundry areas. Working at a Marriott property in Cairo, you will ensure guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linens, and a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and laundry areas according to hotel standards.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware, utensils, and linens between departments.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and reaching overhead.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience needed.
• No supervisory experience or certifications required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Physical capability to lift, stand, walk, bend, and stoop as described.
