Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist supports the management and leadership team at the Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh Golden View Beach Resort by handling a wide range of HR functions. This full‑time position ensures smooth employee onboarding, transfers, and compliance with HR policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist management with resolving HR issues and employee relations.
• Process internal and external transfer requests and coordinate hiring activities.
• Conduct drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and SSN verification.
• Maintain applicant flow logs, orientation records, and transfer request documentation.
• Create and manage new‑hire and personnel files in the HR Information System.
• Support orientation of new employees and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records, including interview documents and I‑9 forms.
• Assist with payroll record processing as needed.
• Generate HR data reports and handle routine office correspondence.
• Serve as HR subject‑matter expert on project teams and train new hires on HR processes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related HR or administrative experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
