Humanitarian Program Officer – Full‑time

About the role

The Humanitarian Program Officer will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of youth‑focused development projects across selected governorates in Egypt. Reporting to senior management, the officer will ensure activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and implement project activities, supervising field coordinators, volunteers and women‑friendly space staff in Damietta and Giza.
• Develop detailed activity plans aligned with project budgets and objectives.
• Manage expenses, request payments and ensure financial accountability.
• Maintain communication with volunteers, coordinate social‑media visibility with Business Development, and organize major project events.
• Prepare technical, financial and narrative reports on a monthly, quarterly and final basis.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures and collaborate with the finance team for accurate reporting.
• Verify data from case workers and ensure proper documentation of all project activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in development or humanitarian programming.
• Proven experience supervising field teams and managing multi‑site community spaces.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with ability to produce high‑quality technical and financial documents.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across diverse stakeholders.
