Identity Access Management Senior Officer – Africa

About the role

Network International is seeking a senior professional to lead Identity Access Management (IAM) activities across its African operations. The role sits within the Logical Security unit and is responsible for delivering user management services, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and supporting critical 24/7 business units.

Key responsibilities

• Review, approve and process all user access requisitions from internal users and external clients within defined Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain and continuously improve user administration processes, documenting procedures in a comprehensive system manual.
• Supervise empowerment and third‑party access requests, ensuring timely completion and proper logging in the SEC Tracker.
• Generate and deliver regular reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support for critical units and handle HR notifications related to staff separations.
• Collaborate with the Information Security team to conduct periodic reviews of administered applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IAM or logical security administration, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of access control policies, SLA management and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain high accuracy under pressure.
