Incident Management Engineer – German Speaker

About the role

We are looking for an Incident Management Engineer who will support Vodafone Germany enterprise customers by handling both standard and complex technical incidents across fixed‑line and cloud services. The position works in a fast‑paced, customer‑critical environment, requires strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, and demands confident communication in German. It is part of a 24/7 operational model that ensures service continuity and SLA compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end incident troubleshooting, identification and resolution for enterprise customers.
• Resolve incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with internal competence teams, external carriers and third‑party partners to achieve timely resolution.
• Accurately manage and update incident tickets, ensuring transparency throughout the lifecycle.
• Work on a rotational shift schedule covering 24/7 operations, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in network operations, technical support or IP‑based troubleshooting.
• Foundational knowledge of IP and voice technologies, including routing, switching, DNS and DHCP.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in complex technical scenarios.
• Customer‑focused mindset with clear, confident communication.
• Fluent in German (minimum C1 level, written and spoken).
• Familiarity with Vodafone fixed, mobile and convergence products is a plus.
