Indirect Buyer – Procurement of Materials & Services

About the role

We are looking for an Indirect Buyer to manage the procurement of non‑production goods and services across the organization. The role will support internal stakeholders, ensure compliance with purchasing policies, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requests for a wide range of indirect categories, including equipment, tools, office furniture, uniforms, stationery, outsourced services, transportation, security, IT, consumables, and safety items.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure purchase requests accurately reflect technical and commercial requirements.
• Execute the full purchasing cycle in line with company policies, including supplier evaluation, quotation comparison, and creation of purchase orders in SAP.
• Maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Finance to guarantee timely supplier payments.
• Conduct market research to expand the vendor base and negotiate favorable terms.
• Support inventory and stocking strategies based on demand patterns and lead times.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities to reduce procurement costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of SAP procurement modules.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
