Indirect Procurement Buyer – Global Scope

About the role

Prometeon Tyre Group is seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to support its global indirect spend across regions such as Brazil, Egypt and Türkiye. Reporting to the HQ Indirect Procurement Team in Italy, you will act as a bridge between headquarters, local stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring procurement activities align with corporate strategy and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sourcing and purchasing for indirect categories, including CAPEX and OPEX items.
• Lead or support RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, negotiations and contract finalisation.
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor order fulfilment.
• Maintain supplier relationships, qualification, onboarding and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day procurement operations, track deliveries and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal and Quality teams across regions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Delegation of Authority and audit requirements.
• Use SAP (or other ERP) for PR/PO management, data accuracy and reporting.

Required profile

• 0–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Understanding of sourcing processes and supplier management.
• Experience in an industrial environment or with CAPEX/OPEX projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• SAP (or other ERP system) for procurement transactions.
