Infrastructure System Engineer

About the role

The Infrastructure System Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting the enterprise infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and business continuity across storage, backup, Windows servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor virtualization platforms such as VMware, VxRail, or Nutanix.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SAN, NAS, and object storage environments.
• Implement backup and replication policies using Networker and Avamar, and verify backup success.
• Administer Active Directory services, including domain controllers, DNS, GPOs, and user accounts.
• Deploy, configure, and optimize Windows Server environments, including clustering and performance tuning.
• Conduct regular health checks, proactive monitoring, and documentation of infrastructure components.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting system outages, and performance issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions.
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
