Inpatient Head Nurse

About the role

ALMehwar Hospital is seeking an experienced Inpatient Head Nurse to lead nursing activities across its inpatient units. This senior nursing position ensures the delivery of high‑quality patient care, maintains safety standards, and supports the hospital’s commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all nursing staff within inpatient wards.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards (GAHAR, JCI) and patient safety protocols.
• Monitor patient care quality and implement improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and operational workflows.
• Mentor and train nursing personnel, fostering professional development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a head nurse or similar leadership role.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience with nursing management, staff training, and hospital accreditation processes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hospital accreditation programs such as GAHAR and JCI.
• Proficiency in nursing management and staff development.
