IT Help Desk Officer

About the role

CFI Financial Group is seeking an IT Help Desk Officer to provide first‑line technical support to its global trading teams. You will be the go‑to person for hardware, software and network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast‑moving financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to end‑users, troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
• Respond to user inquiries and requests promptly, maintaining high‑quality customer service.
• Document and track incidents and resolutions in a ticketing system, ensuring accurate records.
• Participate in training programs and self‑study to stay current with emerging technologies.
• Adhere to IT policies, procedures and security guidelines when handling sensitive information.
• Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in IT support, preferably within a financial services or trading environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as MetaTrader 4/5.
• Understanding of financial services applications.
