IT Specialist – Operations & Projects

About the role

We are seeking an IT Specialist – Operations & Projects to oversee daily IT operations, deliver technical support, and ensure stable, secure systems across our head office and project sites. The role collaborates with internal teams to implement technology solutions that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Unified Communication support and maintain conference‑calling equipment.
• Coordinate hardware maintenance and manage meeting‑room AV devices.
• Install and configure computers, peripherals, printers, scanners and copiers for full network setups.
• Support end‑users on PCs, tablets, and mobile phones, handling calls and tickets within agreed SLA.
• Monitor application performance, escalate critical issues, and deliver on‑call support outside regular hours.
• Maintain software and hardware inventory at the head office and various project locations.
• Deliver basic end‑user training on standard applications and IT procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT support, system administration or a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Very good command of English.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Unified Communication platforms and conference‑calling systems.
• Hardware maintenance, including PCs, tablets, mobile phones, printers, scanners and copiers.
• Network setup and basic troubleshooting of hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Application performance monitoring and incident escalation.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (nice to have).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco or Microsoft (nice to have).
