IT Support Specialist – On-site

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Basatin, Cairo. The role involves providing on‑site technical assistance to internal users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software faults.
• Resolve network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and update computers, peripherals and drivers.
• Respond to phone, email and chat requests from branch users.
• Explain technical solutions in clear, step‑by‑step instructions.
• Log all service requests and maintain ticket updates.
• Maintain composure and a positive attitude during challenging situations.

Required profile

• BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a help‑desk technician or in a customer‑support role.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Customer‑oriented, cool‑tempered and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Software installation, configuration and driver updates.
• Network troubleshooting.
• Remote desktop/control tools.
• Basic knowledge of office automation products and databases.
