Junior Cash Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Cash Management Accountant to support liquidity management, cash forecasting and treasury operations. The role will monitor daily cash positions, reconcile bank and custody accounts and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process and monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and entities, ensuring sufficient funds for operational and capital expenditures.
• Record, analyse and reconcile daily bank balances with accounting records and cash books, escalating abnormal movements.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving cash discrepancies and banking errors.
• Execute end‑to‑end cash custody recording, booking and reconciliation, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
• Ensure all cash transactions comply with IFRS, SOX controls, corporate treasury policies, AML and KYC requirements.
• Assist in fraud prevention by monitoring irregular transaction patterns and escalating suspicious activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for internal and external audits, supporting regulatory reviews.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a solid understanding of IFRS and SOX financial controls.
• Familiarity with anti‑money‑laundering (AML) and know‑your‑customer (KYC) regulations.
• Ability to investigate and resolve cash discrepancies and banking errors.
• Experience preparing audit documentation and supporting regulatory reviews.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain complete audit trails.
