Junior HVAC Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior HVAC Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team at Studio 360, the creative and technical hub behind Azizi Developments. The role focuses on developing and coordinating 3‑D BIM models for heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems on a variety of projects across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed 3‑D HVAC models (ductwork, piping, equipment) in Revit MEP from 2‑D drawings or conceptual layouts.
• Perform clash detection and resolve interferences with structural, electrical and other MEP trades using Navisworks Manage.
• Produce shop drawings, fabrication models and as‑built documentation that comply with ASHRAE/SMACNA standards.
• Ensure designs meet KSA codes, industry best practices and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to integrate HVAC solutions into overall building models.
• Support constructability reviews, manage bill‑of‑quantities and mentor junior modelers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in MEP BIM modeling and shop‑drawing production.
• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and energy‑efficiency techniques.
