Junior Product Owner – FinTech

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Product Owner with a finance or business background who is passionate about technology. In this role you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, turning business needs into clear product requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog management and prioritisation.
• Collaborate with development teams during sprint planning, execution, and reviews.
• Participate in product discovery, user acceptance testing, and product validation.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders and resolve functional questions.
• Analyse business processes and suggest product improvements.
• Maintain product documentation, release notes, and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Monitor product performance and collect user feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment, Economics, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or financial technology.
• Good understanding of financial products, investment concepts or capital markets.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with APIs.
• Knowledge of databases.
• Understanding of system integrations.
• Basic knowledge of UML.
• Basic knowledge of BPMN.
• Experience with process modelling.
