Key Account Manager – B2B Marketplace

About the role

Cartona is a fast‑growing B2B marketplace that connects retailers with wholesalers, suppliers and producers. We are looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to build strong relationships with senior decision‑makers, drive new business opportunities and increase gross merchandise value (GMV) across our strategic accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior‑level decision‑makers at assigned key accounts.
• Research, identify and engage strategic partners that align with Cartona’s objectives.
• Develop, negotiate and close new sales opportunities to generate demand for Cartona’s products and services.
• Achieve revenue targets by increasing GMV per account.
• Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers’ senior management to align needs with Cartona’s offerings.
• Provide excellent service and support, resolving operational issues between suppliers, restaurants and the company.
• Deliver quarterly reviews to partners highlighting growth areas and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal departments to ensure brand requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate activity records in Excel and Cartona’s internal system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in key account management and acquiring new strategic accounts.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinking, problem‑solving ability and a focus on business growth.
• Flexibility to adapt to market changes and a passion for continuous learning.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
