Key Account Manager – FMCG (Cairo & Alexandria)

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead and expand relationships with major supermarket chains, hypermarkets and wholesale distributors in Egypt. The role focuses on driving sales growth, creating strategic business plans, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring high customer satisfaction while maximising market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for major customers.
• Develop and implement annual Joint Business Plans aligned with customer objectives and promotional calendars.
• Negotiate pricing, promotional plans, rebate structures and secure optimal product placement and shelf visibility.
• Analyze sales trends, sell‑in/sell‑through data and monitor ROI of trade promotions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution of customer plans and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Key Account Management, B2B sales or Modern Trade within FMCG, Food & Beverage or HORECA.
• Proven track record managing major retail accounts such as supermarket chains, hypermarkets or wholesale distributors.
